A Season for Gratitude, and for Getting to Work

As the year winds down and the holiday season settles in, I’ve been spending more time reflecting and preparing than celebrating.
Running for township trustee and being entrusted with the opportunity to serve has been one of the most humbling experiences of my life. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who took the time to talk with me, challenge me, support me, and ultimately place their trust in me.
That trust is something I don’t take lightly.
The past few weeks have also been a reminder of how important it is to slow down, unplug, and reconnect with one another. Communities are built face-to-face, neighbor-to-neighbor, and conversation by conversation. This season gives us a chance to remember that.
January 1 is approaching quickly, and with it comes the real work. My focus is on listening, learning, and preparing to be a thoughtful, steady presence on the Board of Trustees. I’m committed to transparency, collaboration, and doing the day-to-day work that helps Russell Township function well for everyone who calls it home.
For now, I hope everyone can find moments of rest and connection over the coming days and weeks, however you celebrate and wherever you find meaning this season.
Thank you again for the trust you’ve placed in me. I’m looking forward to getting to work.
